| 内容記述 | This small-scale study compares some features of L2 speakers’ self-repair with the self-repair of L1 speakers. Non-syntactic errors, place of interruption, and editing expressions are examined in a task performed by four Japanese learners of English, and contrasted with data from Levelt’s study of self-initiated self-repair. The L2 speakers in this study were more likely to employ anticipatory retracing and used a very limited range of editing expressions. The task used was judged to be appropriate for eliciting data on L2 self-repair. | |||||
