| 内容記述 | Some ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic new compounds are found to be formed under hydrothermal conditions. Structural and studies of the compounds are reported. By the heating Ba(OH)2 solution containing a-Fe2O3 powder in an autoclave, hexagonal crystal of BaO*2Fe2O3 is formed. The crystal and magnetic structures are investigated. Various efforts for substituting divalent and trivalent metal ions, such as Ni2+, Co2+, Cu2+, Al3+, and Cr3+, Fe3+ in the BaO*2Fe2O3 crystal have been unsuccessful. Instead, the other type of magnetic compounds are found to be formed. By heating sr(OH)2 solutions containing a-Fe2O3 or Cr2O3 Sr-hydrogarnets are formed. The structural and magnetic properties of the hydrogaruets are discussed. | |||||
