| 内容記述 | When humid air is exposed to a cold surface whose temperature is below 0 \C\, frost deposition occurs and continues to accumulate on the surface. Frost deposition is an important phenomenon in cryogenic industries for use in air conditioners, refrigerators and freeze-out purification, because it causes the drop of thermal efficiency on heat exchangers.This paper presented a review of our previous studies on frost formation with emphasis on the frost growth process, the frost structure, the growth theory of a frost layer and the effects of frost deposition on the characteristics of various types of heat exchangers. | |||||
