| 内容記述 | Conventional strengthening methods of structural use metallic materials have classified as grain refinerent, strengthened microstructure, solid solution strengthening and precipitation strengthening. These techniques are mainly attainable due to heat treatment processes. In hot working of metallic materials, the mechanical properties were normally of secondary importance so far, because the main requirement was high productivity. Recent progress of metal working techniques allowed to start fulfilling the mechanical property requirements as well as high productivity in hot working. One example of this improvement was the controlled rolling of steels which satisfied the demands for the construction of large scale pipe lines in cold area. In Japan, this period coincided with the construction of large scale of rolling mills. The products of the controlled rolling process have even better mechanical properties than ones obtained by conventional quenched-and-tempered processes.Among the principal topics in the field of temperature deformation and thermomechanical treatment (TMT), the present paper deals with high temperature deformation behaviors to clarify the strong influence of deformation rate and temperature in microstructure of steels, the relation of low temperature ductility and obtained microstructure by hot deformation, other examples such as ausforming of tool steels, and simulation tests of hot working in aluminum alloys by torsion tests with tubular spwecimens. | |||||
