| 内容記述 | The degree-day-factor (DDF) method is applied on the snowmelt runoff study for upper Uono River Basin with a catchment area of 335 km\^2^. The input data are daily precipitation at 3 rain gauging stations and temperature data at one station, whereas the output data are daily runoff of Uono River. Runoff model used is a lumped catchment model which takes into effect a variable source area. Procedure of runoff calculation is as follows. Precipitation data is split into rain and snow according to temperature data. Rain is to be fed into the runoff model, while snow accumulates itself to become snow cover. If temperature is above freezing, snowmelt runoff is generated according to the DDF method.There are two parameters in the snowmelt calculation, i.e. the degree-day-factor (DDF) and lapse rate of the temperature. The former in the snowmelt calculated runoff with the measured, while the latter is obtained from field temperature distribution. It was found that precipitation data during snowfall season has to be increased to obtain a good correspondence between calculated and measured runoff. This is also verified by referencing the calculated snowcover depth with snow depth survey data at nine stations. Furthermore a good correspondence is obtained by conjecturing snowfall increasing with elevation. | |||||
