This method is very reliable, but it is not suitable for on-line application since a large number of contingencies have to be simulated in a short time. As a substitute, Lyapunov’s direct method was proposed, and many papers have reported on this method. Research has reached some level of a simple model by the PEBS (potential energy boundary surface) method. The PEBS method gives excellent agreement with actual Tcr (fault crealing time) except for a conservative stability of large power systems in presented, using the new method of Lyapunov. A region of asymptotic stability for the postfault system is obtained through the RIDGE theorem. In this method, fairly accurate results are also obtained for multiswing cases. In this paper, we discuss the RIDGE method for large systems with uniform-damping.}, pages = {1--10}, title = {電力系統における過渡安定度解析 : 新しいRIDGE法に対する検討}, volume = {11}, year = {1989} }
