| 内容記述 | This paper makes empirical study of the transaction functions and location of business offices for the central business district (CBD) in a local core city, NIIGATA. A survey was carried out for 350 offices which were mainly branch offices of companies. Their most important factors of location are revealed to be five; accessibility to market, existing agglomeration of business office, urban infrastructure, availability of office space, and accessibility to hi-speed transportation. The central area of NIIGATA consists of three agglomerated subareas, each of which has unique and transitional functions. The analysis shows that there exists a consisitant relationship between the transaction functions of business offices and the locational conditions of the subareas. | |||||
