| 内容記述 | The jointless system in roadway viaducts can produce favorable effects on not only driving condition but also traffic environment and supervision. One of the effective methods for putting a jointless system to practical use is to use a buried joint instead of a steel expansion joint. Usage of an ordinary buried joint is limited to short spanned bridges. But the buried joint which contains steel grid panel and sliding sheets can be applied to much longer bridges. Since this type buried joint has been developed from only experience of test installations, material and structural basic characteristics of the joint have not been cleared. Furthermore a detail movement of bridge deck and the buried joint behavior caused by that movement are also unknown. In this paper,(1) long term real girder behavior of expansion and contraction, (2) deformation characteristic of grid panel type buried joint are discussed by field measurements and laboratory experiments. Real movement of expansion gap is very complicated, and it was suggested from field measurement results that the asphalt mixture used as the buried joint should be more insensitive for temperature. As concerns laboratory experiments, deformation behavior of the buried joint is measured by giving expansion and contraction action to full scale specimens. From the results, deformation dispersion effect which is remarkable point of this type buried joint can be verified. And it is also shown that the steel grid panel is essential constituent for this type buried joint. | |||||
