To improve the water quality in a reservoir, the investigation of mixing mechanism near the density stratified layer is necessary. In this study, the experiment on the flow dynamics of the starting vertical plume colliding with the density stratified layer is carried out to clarify the mechanism of the mixing. The three typical flow patterns are mainly dependent on the density of inflow and the density distribution in the tank. The measurement of the velocity and density distributions makes it clear that the mixing mechanism is strongly affected by the flow pattern.}, pages = {13--18}, title = {密度躍層に衝突する鉛直密度噴流の流動形態}, volume = {18}, year = {1996} }
