| 内容記述 | Recently, there has been a trend that more students in Japan do not regard science as their favorable subject. Science field at the university level has also become a less popular major among students. A similar phenomenon is also prevalent in the business sector. This unpopularity of science is largely due to the de-emphasis of traditional science course in schools by male students. This paper suggests two possible measures to cope with the current situation: 1) the re-examination of science education in primary schooling and 2) supporting and encouraging more female students to enroll and work in science field. | |||||
